Certificate of Recognition
The Membership Committee created a Certificate of Recognition that leaders may present to members who provide extraordinary service in their chapters. PSE New Member Booklet
All new PSE members receive this Welcome to PSE new member booklet when they are hired by a school district or university. Download a copy to your computer or request a booklet be sent to you as a hard copy.

If you need assistance preparing your chapter’s annual budget, please read the Yearly Chapter Budget Projection Instructions.
All chapters are required to file an annual Chapter Financial Report with the state office. To satisfy this requirement, please review and complete the following documents: Annual Chapter Financial Report | Annual Chapter Financial Report Checklist. This must be done no later than October 31 of each year. “How-to” videos have been posted at the Education channel for PSE SEIU 1948 on YouTube. Look for the videos titled Annual Chapter Financial Report Checklist and Annual Chapter Financial Report. You may also discover other helpful videos there.
Leadership Changes
To make sure critical information reaches your chapter, please complete a Report in Changes in Chapter Leadership form whenever there is a change to the leadership team in your chapter. Email the completed form to your regional PSE office secretary.
Public Relations Grants
PSE is offering $20,000 in cash grants to local chapters planning community activities. These grants are a major part of the Stepping Up public relations campaign. Our state leaders determined we needed to “give back” a portion of the $1 per month assessment to the local level for public education and recognition of classified employees. Review Policy 1006 to learn more about applying for a Public Relations Grant. Need ideas, click on the Membership Toolkit.
Convention Speeches
Per PSE Bylaws Article XI, the President’s annual State of the Union speech and the annual report of the condition and performance of the organization delivered at convention will remain available to members for a period of three years.
