Welcome to the PSE Annual Convention website, where you will find all of the information you will need to plan, prepare, and make your way to PSE’s annual convention in Kennewick! We look forward to converging on this great area of our state and can’t wait for your participation as we meet together and talk about how to make our union the best it can be! This website will provide you with information about getting to Kennewick, what you can do while visiting, and all pertinent information related to the agenda at convention! Please make sure you read through the website so you familiarize yourself with what’s ahead! This website will be updated frequently, so be sure to check back on a regular basis.

Intent to Run and Candidate Statements

28890248366_26cd1725a5_zEvery year at PSE’s Convention, delegates have the opportunity to vote for new union leaders. This year, elections for Vice President, Treasurer and Directors from odd numbered Zones will be held.

Delegates may only cast their votes by attending convention. Candidate information will be provided on the PSE website as well as in the Convention Guide.

If you have interest in running for a state office position (listed above), please complete the Intent to Run form and return all requested information to for processing no later than by Close of Business (5:00 pm) May 31st 2017.

Sergeant-at-Arms delegates are needed for the business sessions.

You must be elected as a delegate from your chapter to volunteer. PSE will not cover your expenses.

We are looking for both door monitors as well as those willing to monitor floor activity.

Are you interested in opportunities to get involved in your union? PSE encourages member involvement through voluntary service on various State Committees.

Serving on a state committee is a responsibility that should not be taken lightly. If you are selected to serve, you must be able to attend scheduled meetings, have access to a computer with the internet and provide PSE will an email address that you check frequently.

28816791342_bbf1bc8ffe_zMost committee meetings are scheduled on a Saturday to reduce conflict with members’ work schedules but will require you to travel and depending distance an overnight lodging.

PSE reimburses for mileage associated with using your personal vehicle as well as meals or other expenses incurred that are related to serving on a state committee (Policy 3001B).
