2016 Government Relations Report (READ)
Presented to Convention Delegates by Government Relations Director Doug Nelson
Sunday, August 7 2016
If your chapter would like to request financial assistance sending delegates or if you would like to donate and be a sponsor, click here for more information.
Every year at PSE’s Convention, delegates get the opportunity to vote to choose new union leaders. This year, elections for President, Secretary, and even numbered Zone Directors will be held. Delegates can only cast their votes by attending convention. Candidate information will be included in the Delegate Resource Guide.
You should have received your delegate election mailing, and you are encouraged to send as many delegates as allowed. Please remember that the meeting to elect your delegates and alternates must be held before June 5.
If you have questions about the election process or about the mailing, please contact Lenda Johnson. You can reach her by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 253-876-7447.
Sergeant-at-Arms delegates are needed for the business sessions. You must be elected as a delegate from your chapter. PSE will not cover your expenses. We are looking for door monitors as well as those willing to monitor floor activity.
