Union has Its Privileges

You and your co-workers joined the union to gain a voice on the job. But did you know this collective strength also has an impact in the marketplace? When PSE joined SEIU in December we became part of a big family of union members. SEIU's 1.8 million members, along with members of the AFL-CIO, gives more than 13 million union members and their families substantial purchasing power as part of Union Privilege, a program founded by the AFL-CIO to provide consumer benefits.

Through member-only programs offered by SEIU in partnership with Union Privilege we're able to provide you and your family with special discounts, programs, features and savings. Go to the SEIU webpage at www.SEIU.org to learn more and to take advantage of the privileges of your union membership.

ScholarshipsEach year, SEIU provides scholarships to help members and their children pursue educational goals. You must be a member of SEIU for three consecutive years to qualify so PSE members will be eligible in two and a half years.

Financial AssistanceMember-only benefits such as skip payments and financial assistance in the event of disability or layoff are available. Members can also take advantage of mortgage and real estate benefits such as low down payments and reduced closing costs.
