T.E.A.M. is a program consisting of three trainings over three years for high-potential union leaders.
This training is an important part of PSE’s continuing investment in YOU. Through role-playing, self-assessment tests, and other training scenarios, you’ll explore leadership roles as strategist, communicator, mentor, and T.E.A.M. member.
This year we are offering the T.E.A.M. trainings June 29 – July 1 at the Red Lion Hotel Pasco. All three levels will be represented: T.E.A.M. I, T.E.A.M. II and T.E.A.M. III. You must have completed a session in order to advance onto the next.
You will experience the fundamentals of the union and how to become a strong leader while engaging your members.
You will experience how to handle conflict while resolving issues. You will also navigate the grievance procedures.
You will experience how to read and understand an Employer’s budget in preparation for bargaining, followed by understanding the bargaining process from start to finish.
If you’re interested in attending, you must contact your chapter president or zone director. Qualifying members will be emailed a registration link that must be submitted by May 11 for the event.
